Job description

Huntington University has an opening for a Student Life Coordinator. Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Life & Athletics (VPSLA), the Student Life Coordinator (โ€œCoordinatorโ€) serves as an office manager and staff generalist providing administrative support to various University and student facing functions and activities primarily in the areas in Student Life (including: Student Services + Campus Police, Student Engagement, Academic Center for Excellence, Residence Life/Student Programming/Multicultural Programming & Commuter Student Programming. The Coordinator also serves as the Executive Assistant for the VPSLA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
  • Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ
  • Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Demonstrated administrative and project management skills
  • Commitment to a Christ-centered hospitality and excellent customer service
