Job description

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for individuals throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Program Assistant supporting the Save Our Sons program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for program inquiries and participants.
  • Provide information, assistance, and customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain program calendars.
  • Track and distribute Save Our Sons calendar activities across the agency.
  • Prepare check requests and maintain accurate client files.
  • Order and manage office supplies.
  • Support data tracking and reporting systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, proposals, manuals, presentations, and other program materials.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of administrative or customer service experience required.
  • College coursework is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
