Job description

Central Support Assistant

The Central Support Assistant is responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of incoming and outgoing store/departmental mail, store forms, office supplies training materials, and supply orders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Accurately receive, sort, and distribute large amounts of mail.
  • Process the incoming mail bags each morning and prepare the mailbags for delivery each afternoon.
  • Fill store requests for office supplies and forms daily.
  • Slot mass mailings of O'Reilly specific publications, marketing and promotional items and Store Design Department projects.
  • Provide coverage for maintaining inventory of office supplies, processing business card requests company wide, and various record keeping.
  • Handles shipping to international locations.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to sort and handle large quantities of paperwork
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be able to carry heavy loads, sit, stand, reach, stoop, and climb stairs for numerous times throughout the day
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
