In this hands-on role, you'll help set up, support, and tear down events throughout the community. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and staying active, this is a great opportunity to get involved in the events and programs that make Kentwood a great place to live.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with setup and teardown of event equipment, including tables, chairs, tents, stages, barricades, and signage
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize event supplies and materials
  • Arrange event layouts based on diagrams or supervisor instructions
  • Assemble and disassemble basic event equipment, ensuring safety and stability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
  • Provide on-site support during events, including adjusting setups and assisting staff as needed
  • Follow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques and protective equipment
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to supervisors
  • Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, vendors, and community partners
  • Deliver friendly, professional service when interacting with the public and event participants

You're reliable, energetic, and enjoy hands-on work. You work well with others, take direction, and aren't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.

Minimum Requirements:
