Drive program roadmaps, working with the business and technology leadership.
Bridge the gap between technology delivery decisions and business impact analysis
Understand and manage to the link between daily program activities and the overall program outcomes.
Use your strong financial modeling and management skills to transparently demonstrate the successful program outcomes.
Outline the risk profile with appropriate mitigation plans and stakeholder responsibilities.
Own program communications at all levels across Technology and Business stakeholders.
Serve as Director-level leadership for Product and/or Engineering on an extended basis as needed for Program success.
Identify and ensure resolution of impediments to the team's progress escalating to senior leadership if needed.
Protect the integrity of the teams and its velocity from unnecessary external influences.
Coach the team on continually improving communication, process, estimation, quality, and velocity.
Care for the team - seek to unlock the energy and potential of the team to be the best it can be.
Manage the teams' velocity and timing while identifying ways to improve velocity, estimation, and quality.
Requirements:
You have an MBA and/or BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
You've been working for 15 years or more in business process, software delivery or related field.
You have demonstrated effective communication at all levels of the organization.
You have managed the delivery of programs that have had a measurable business impact.
You have a solid understanding of what it takes to develop and deliver great software, fast.
You've got an entrepreneurial energy and ability to find solutions to challenges your teams face.
You communicate concisely with the ability to translate business strategy to delivery.
You work like a coach in your passion to get your teams to perform at their best.
You can get the job done using JIRA, Confluence and Slack.
You're a star at coaching teams to be effective delivering business and technology objectives.
You are a leader who influences others to choose the right path.
You have appropriate certification or related experience:
Scrum certification: ideally CSP, at least CSM, and preferably SAFe as well.
PMP certified or some other certification in project management
Executed Agile projects with zero to 5% slip in sprint commitments
Played the role of Scrum Master in executing a project
Handling a outcome based model with end to end delivery ownership
Managing programs which are critical timelines and not to execeed budge
