POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager II (Containment) is responsible for managing and overseeing containment installation projects throughout the Eastern Region. This role leads project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, customer communications, field operations, and financial performance for hot and cold aisle containment projects within data center environments. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, installation teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Manage multiple containment installation projects throughout the Eastern Region.
  • Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and issues.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
  • Lead and support Site Supervisors, Lead Installers, and Installation Teams.
  • Track project budgets, labor utilization, expenses, and profitability.
  • Manage change orders, project documentation, and customer approvals.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout all project activities.
  • Review installation quality and verify compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct site visits and project reviews as necessary.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project performance reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Travel throughout the Eastern Region to support project and customer requirements.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.
  • Experience with hot aisle and cold aisle containment systems preferred.
  • Data center construction or infrastructure experience preferred.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with project management software is preferred.
  • Ability to prepare reports, schedules, project documentation, and customer communications.
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly or indirectly supervises Site Supervisors, Lead Installers, and Installation Technicians assigned to projects.
  • Responsible for leadership, coaching, direction, and performance feedback to field personnel.
  • Assists with staffing, workforce planning, and resource allocation within the region.
