Are you a detaildriven professional who thrives on ensuring things run smoothly, fairly, and by the book? The Montana Department of Corrections is looking for a Contract Manager who will play a pivotal role in supporting safe communities and improving outcomes for offenders and their families.

The Contract Manager helps safeguard the effectiveness of Montana's community corrections system. Your leadership in contract oversight and quality assurance strengthens public safety and supports the rehabilitation and welfare of offenders transitioning back into communities.

In this dynamic position, you'll oversee contracts for our Community Corrections Facilities & Programs Bureau-helping keep our operations effective, compliant, and aligned with state regulations. Your work will directly impact facility performance, offender placement, and the overall quality of services delivered across Montana. Job Duties included but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage community corrections contracts from start to finish.

  • Coordinate initiatives across multiple divisions and respond to evolving business needs.

  • Navigate contract amendments and resolve issues involving facilities, offenders, and families.

  • Support offender placement decisions and manage lengthofstay considerations.

  • Use your communication and analytical skills to ensure integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.

  • Monitor contractual and facility compliance to ensure highquality operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration or a related field

  • Two Years experience in Human Services

Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
