Job description

CoralTree Hospitality is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Marketing who will shape and execute the overall marketing strategy for a luxury resort property in Park City, UT. The Director of Marketing supports the organization in generating profitable revenue, increasing RevPAR, capturing market share, and elevating brand awareness for the properties.

This role requires a marketing leader who can seamlessly integrate marketing efforts throughout the organization, leveraging compelling programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate shares CoralTree’s passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences, nurturing a vibrant company culture, and building strong connections within the community.


· Lead the development and delivery of the annual marketing and communications plan and budget, aligned with each resort’s strategic priorities and revenue goals.

· Develop and oversee execution of marketing strategies that align with property goals and positioning, capture the target market, and drive top-line revenue.

· Collaborate with the property revenue team to support informed decisions and help achieve revenue and room night goals.

· Partner with resort team leaders to develop marketing strategies for Food & Beverage, Leisure Sales, golf, Spa and Wellness, equestrian, Recreation, Weddings/Catering, and Group Sales.

· Prepare and manage the marketing expense budget, including monthly forecasting and analysis of overall marketing effectiveness.

· Lead weekly and monthly meetings with department heads across property and agency teams to align priorities and execution.

· Develop tactical promotions and offers that drive incremental revenue.

· Oversee internal and external communications across digital channels, including the property website, third-party channels, and social media, while maintaining brand integrity.

· Manage all property photography and video shoots, including shot lists, schedules, property access, talent, and brand alignment.

· Identify workflow process improvements that optimize efficiency and enhance website functionality and design.

· Develop and implement marketing and public relations strategies that promote revenue growth among key targeted segments and strengthen resort brand positioning and image.

· Manage CRM touchpoints, including outbound email marketing, retention strategies, and new customer acquisition initiatives.

· Oversee web and social media infrastructure, ensuring fresh, engaging content while advancing functionality and design.

· Prepare monthly and bi-weekly marketing reports for ownership that showcase campaign and initiative performance.

· Develop print and digital advertising opportunities, including paid and unpaid placements, as part of the overall marketing strategy.

· Manage the hotels local reputation through public relations initiatives, community outreach, partnerships, and promotional collaborations.

· Develop and manage the digital marketing plan, including partnerships and strategies that maximize hotel revenue production and align with hotel positioning.

· Manage OTA strategy in collaboration with Revenue Management through monthly market reviews and media investments.

· Manage strategy and agency partnerships with the resort’s public relations, digital, brand, and social agencies.

· Track campaign benchmarks and KPIs to measure success and optimize campaigns as needed.

· Monitor industry trends to ensure the properties remain at the cutting edge of hospitality services.


· At least 5 to 7 years, preferably more, of luxury resort or hotel marketing experience.

· College degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· Brand ambassador for luxury lifestyle with a strong appreciation for premium guest experiences.

· Dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative leader who thrives under pressure and can manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot when needed.

· Experience managing and leading a team of at least four marketing professionals.

· Proficient in general computer applications, including social media platforms.

· Strong leader with a desire to satisfy the needs of others and a proven track record in a similar position.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

· Organized and personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
