Position Summary

The Store Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the store. This position directs all store operations, including sales growth, customer service, labor management, financial performance, merchandising execution, safety, compliance, and associate development. The Store Director leads department managers and store associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences while achieving company goals and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Store Leadership & Operations
  • Direct and oversee all daily store operations.
  • Establish and communicate store goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Ensure operational standards are consistently executed throughout all departments.
  • Monitor store conditions to maintain a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment.
  • Lead store initiatives, promotional events, and company programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and execution.
Sales & Financial Performance
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve sales, profit, and productivity goals.
  • Analyze financial reports, sales trends, labor expenses, and operational metrics.
  • Manage labor budgets and staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Control expenses, reduce shrink, and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Hold department leaders accountable for financial and operational results.
Customer Experience
  • Champion a culture of exceptional customer service throughout the store.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Extensive retail grocery management experience required.
  • Previous multi-department leadership experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive business results.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent movement throughout all store departments.
