Position Overview

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the industrialization of new products. Interfaces with the Operations Hubs via Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Process/NPI Engineering and Test Engineering. As Program Manager, he/she oversees all projects of his/her customer base. Technical Program Manager (TPM) are responsible for the MAKE side of the customer relationship. They industrialize customer projects along the entire value chain working together with the specialists of the assigned operations site. They focus on costs, quality, flexibility and availability when defining and implementing the manufacturing strategy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Technical oversight (feasibility review) and project development according to QA Guidelines
  • Manage and oversee communications between internal and external departments
  • Complete customer questionnaire (as needed),with support from QA and Operations
  • Manage project folders, documentation and set up Calculation folder
  • Project documentation review, facilitate and prepare quote calculations with support from Quality and Engineering in accordance with QA guidelines.
  • Request PCB panel to the Engineering team and provide to buyer during quoting process.
  • Document NPI checklist (Customer Data Checklist_Feasibility Form) and submit to Technical for BOM and router setup.
  • Provide special tooling and equipment requirements to test and process engineering
  • Facilitate customer engineering/technical meetings
  • Initiate ECN’s (internal and external)
  • Follow-up on PPAP and external FAI
  • Communicate w/ customers on material, build, testing and quality issues and contribute towards resolution
  • Issue deviations and obtain approvals
  • Facilitate SCARs
  • Initiate RMA, follow-up and contribute toward resolution
  • Communicate PCN notifications
  • Coordinate review of process issues and implementation of changes
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • 5+ years of experience in project management/electronics environment
  • ERP (SAP) experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Customer Oriented
