Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Specialist to join our growing team. This role directly supports program execution for critical combat vehicle systems, working alongside Program Management and Engineering to drive successful project outcomes.
The Project Specialist is a key role within the program team, focused on supporting the program and technical team in the development of meeting content and execution. As directed, the Program Specialist will also manage small to medium sized projects in support of the program execution. Role is in direct support to the Program Director, Program Management Team and Engineering teams developing critical Combat Vehicle systems.
Essential Functions:
  • Direct support to Combat Vehicle Program Director and other Combat Vehicle Programs.
  • Provide the Program Director with certain administrative support (meeting preparation and support, expense reports, coordination with external customers, meeting scheduling, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align schedules, resources, and cost estimates with program goals.
  • Support the continued development and maturation of AR Program Management tools and processes.
  • Support delivery and control of small-scale project/projects.
  • Continuous improvement of processes/efficiencies as well as product portfolio.
  • Ability to travel to Germany and other sites in the US and abroad as required.
  • Undertake other duties as tasked by the Program Director or his/her delegate.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing

  • Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to work effectively with the US team, suppliers, customers, and corporate parent staff.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting large, complex U.S. Department of Defense programs.
  • Strong understanding of project planning tools, cost estimation, and schedule integration.
  • Experience working with engineering and program management teams in a defense environment preferred.
  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management, DELTEK Suite of Program Management Tools, MS Project
  • Training in PMP, Agile, Systems Engineering
  • Comfort with senior level customer interactions and briefings (internal and external)
  • Sufficient technical experience to ensure grasp of project domain

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
