Phigenics provides independent expert guidance, Water Management Programs (WMP), and advanced technologies to our clients to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and overall safety of water systems. Our clients include a diverse mix of industry leaders in healthcare, hospitality, government, higher education, retail, and manufacturing facilities. Phigenics does not sell water treatment chemicals and is not biased toward any treatment technology or supplier.


Position Summary:

The Program Design & Development Manager will report to the Director of Account Management, while working with the Production and Quality Team, Account Managers, Client Growth and Expansion Managers and Business Development Managers. The individual will support water management program (WMP) delivery, including:

  1. ASHRAE ST108 Safety
  2. ASHRAE ST514
  3. Sterile Processing
  4. Construction

The Program Design & Development Manager will be assigned to an Area and support all development work within that geography. If demand is high in another area, this role may also support another Areas workload. If capacity allows, this role will also support with WMP reassessment work for clients within the area.


Responsibilities:

  • Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data to generate Water Management Programs
  • Develops and maintains internal and external customer relationship by applying knowledge of water management and team dynamics
  • Develops WMP documentation with regional and corporate sales team members, including direct interface with clients
  • Supports documentation of site information, WMPs, meeting documentation to capture team decisions, and internal meetings to generate comprehensive project records
  • Conducts water system surveys for Water Management Program developments of varying size and use
  • Manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of WMP deliverables
  • Utilize internal quality processes to confirm WMP documentation is defensible
  • Support clients in water management education
  • Learns continuously to stay up to date on industry standards and best practices
  • If capacity allows, this role will also support with WMP reassessments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and team facilitation skills
  • Skilled in asking clarifying and confirming questions, listening, and facilitating group discussion to determine action plans
  • Willing to work in urgent and/or emergent situations, and under changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
  • Water-related experience in engineering or the sciences (e.g., microbiology, chemistry)
  • 3 to 6 years of job experience
  • Understand potable and utility building water systems and applications of water management beyond traditional waterborne pathogens of focus (e.g., Legionella)
  • Experienced technical communication
  • Experience in agile project management software (Jira ad ClickUp)


Work Environment / Travel

This is a hybrid position with flexibility as determined by the Senior Manager and/or Director of Account Management. However, occasional travel may be necessary for department meeting and for client site visits. Dress is business professional for client facing meetings and business ready for internal meetings. If visiting a client site, the wearing of PPE is sometimes required.
