Job Description

San Bernardino Community College District accepts applications for Federal Work Study, hourly positions for our two college campuses (San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College) on a continuous basis. However, this does not imply the department is actively recruiting for this position. If there is an interest and/or need within the specific department, applicants who meet the requirements will be contacted by the respective department manager.
The student worker will assist prospective, new and continuing students with the admission application process including online admission application, online orientation, and class registration.
The student worker will assist in providing program-related general support and assistance to faculty, professional experts, staff, program participants, and students during class/lab activities. Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population.
- Assist with Customer Relation Management (CRM) data entry.
- Assist with program orientation.
- Assist with other applications such as email.
- Distribution of general information.
- Assist with class set-up and clean-up.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Student must have in possession a Federal Work Study award letter for the current academic year.
- Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
- Student must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
- Student must have a current TB.
- Ability to follow directions in order to carry out the duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with various equipment/tools used in the program and/or have completed some courses in the specific program or related fields.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
