Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a highly motivated Business Development Coordinator to join our award-winning Business Development team. You'll work with our Litigation Practice Business Development team, primarily supporting the Class Actions, Business Disputes, and Privacy practice areas.

In this role, you'll help execute strategic business development initiatives while coordinating day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment. You'll assist in the planning, execution, and advancement of client-focused business development strategies that strengthen relationships and drive practice growth.

We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, responsive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills. Success in this role requires a high energy level and flexibility, including occasional overtime.

Maintaining an in-office presence is important to delivering our services through an integrated and collaborative work culture. This position may reside in either our New York or Philadelphia office follows a hybrid three (3) days per week in-office working arrangement.

What you'll do:

  • Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses, and presentations under the direction of managers and senior managers.

  • Draft and edit correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, visual resources, and other client-facing materials, collaborating with colleagues across departments to format, proofread, print, and compile deliverables to firm standards.

  • Leverage firm tools to manage data, conduct research using internal and external resources, and create reports in support of business development initiatives.

  • Partner with the Marketing and Events teams to develop event content, identify business generation opportunities, and coordinate post-event follow-up.

  • Assist with budget development, maintenance, and tracking.

  • Support business development operations, including communications, reporting, and experience management.

  • Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests and special projects.

For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is: $67,400.00 - $107,825.00.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
