The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Factory IT Site Delivery Manager supporting our Alamo, TN and Crystal Springs, MS factories. This role sits at the intersection of technology, manufacturing, and people-where your expertise turns IT services into real business value. You'll be the trusted IT partner for site leadership, shaping how digital solutions enable safe, efficient, and connected factory operations.

In this highly visible role, you'll guide endtoend IT service delivery onsite, ensuring infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity capabilities are reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals. You'll collaborate closely with business unit leaders, application owners, vendors, and global IT teams to anticipate demand, resolve challenges, and continuously improve service performance.

You'll also have the opportunity to lead and develop local IT professionals, manage vendors, and drive governance and standards in a dynamic factory environment. From supporting daily operations to leading IT build projects and responding to cybersecurity events, your impact will be tangible and meaningful.

This is a fulltime, onsite role based at the factory you're assigned to, offering the chance to see the immediate results of your work and build strong, lasting partnerships across operations. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead IT service delivery for assigned factory sites

  • Serve as the primary IT escalation point for the business

  • Ensure effective ticket management, triage, and resolution

  • Deliver and support onsite IT infrastructure and applications

  • Oversee local IT governance, security, and cybersecurity response

  • Manage IT demand intake and prioritize business requirements

  • Lead IT build and improvement projects at site level

  • Coordinate IT vendors and global delivery teams

  • Plan and control site IT budget and costs

  • Enable secure machine and network connectivity

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology

  • 2+ years in an IT leadership or management role

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments

  • Project management experience for complex initiatives

  • Strong communication skills in English; additional local language skills valued
