Delivery Representative ~ Local Route Driver - 4 Day Work Week


Department: Delivery

Location: Lenexa, KS

Reports to: Delivery Manager

Pay: Starting at $60,000 annually + annual bonus

Schedule: 4 days a week, weekdays, no weekends or nights

Job Description:

Our Delivery Representatives work a 4-day work week and are responsible for the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns on a designated route. Delivery Representatives are also responsible for the servicing of all designated accounts. Servicing includes, but is not limited to, moving and regularly lifting 25โ€“35 lbs during delivery, merchandising, and storing Company products.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types/sizes of trucks on highways and maneuver them for proper unloading at various types of facilities

  • Collects payment from customers, recording transactions upon delivery

  • Unload truck contents onto pallet jack or material handling equipment and place them on account shelves, racks, and/or coolers

  • Rotation of all Company products in designated accounts

  • Communicates with Supervisor, Retail Account Representatives, customers, and co-workers during the delivery process

Qualifications:

  • High school education required

  • Computer knowledge

  • 21+ years of age

  • Safe driving record

  • Valid Commercial Driverโ€™s License (CDL)

  • Highly self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude

  • Ability to work with little supervision

  • Ability to safely operate job-related equipment such as a pallet jack and a forklift.

  • Ability to repetitively pull, push, bend, squat, twist, crawl, climb, walk, and reach above head height.

Experience:

  • Route/ selling experience preferred

  • Customer service experience preferred
