Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel, Deltek Costpoint, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is typically required, along with certifications such as PMP or EVMP being advantageous. Their work is essential for minimizing risks and ensuring successful project delivery, especially in industries like government contracting, construction, and IT. Program control often involves collaboration with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met efficiently.
