WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MEMBERSHIP DESK ASSOCIATE
This administrative position at our Teen Site typically works Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm with a 1/2 hour unpaid dinner break and Tuesday, Thursday from 1:30 pm - 5:30. Schedule is subject to change based on growth of organizational needs.
This nonprofit program administrative position earns a hourly salary of $16.00 - 17.00 per hour, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEMBERSHIP DESK ASSOCIATE
As a Membership Desk Associate, you are responsible for effectively executing our nonprofit's daily Membership Desk operations at one of our two sites, as assigned, with a strong emphasis on clerical functions and customer service. You are an organizational master who coordinates many moving parts to ensure we create the best possible safe, welcoming environment for our members, parents and visitors. You serve as the primary and initial contact for customer service related visits, fielding questions and communicating pertinent information to the rest of the team. Acting as the liaison between program parents and our team you are responsible for Membership Desk and Lobby operations to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
The safety of our members and our staff is your number one priority, so you are always on the lookout for potential hazards or dangerous situations. You ensure every visitors follows our safety policies and guidelines, quickly intervening if you notice a problem. Committed to continually improving, you attend regular training to keep your knowledge fresh and become the best resource you can for our members. You take great pride in performing this incredible administrative job and personally making a difference in so many children's lives!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEMBERSHIP DESK ASSOCIATE
  • 18+ years old
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum of two (2) year equilivent combination of education, training and work experience as an office assistant, front desk associate, administrative assistant or related field
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast pasted environment
  • Ability to deal with the general public in a friendly professional manner
  • Self/motivated/directed, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong computer literacy including database management
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to comply with company policy regarding background checks
