Advertised Job Summary
The YEA! Program Assistant will assist with the day-to-day program activities of the YEA! Network. This position will help support planning and scheduling meetings and events, support youth and partner engagement, coordinate trainings and workgroups, completes communication across the network, organizes the tracking of project activities and outcomes, and help ensure that youth voice is included in program planning, advocacy, training, and systems improvement efforts.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires 1 or more years of job related experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field and 2 years' experience or Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of child welfare, foster care, practices and policies.
  • Demonstrated initiative and organization skills-demonstrated ability to organize complete projects into workable objectives and tasks.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite, Canva, and virtual meeting platforms.
