Job description

Position Summary

This Graduate Assistant position involves assisting the Program Director of the Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) program in a wide range of tasks to support the MSCP program. This position is approximately 4 hours per week for one semester, with the possibility to continue on in subsequent semesters.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Site Agreement list for students’ clinical placements and MSCP alumni contact list.
  • Support data collection efforts for annual assessment.
  • Attend and assist in coordinating MSCP events, e.g., MSCP New Student Orientation, Open House for prospective MSCP students.
  • Engage in recruitment-related activities for the MSCP program.
  • Organize psychological assessment materials used by the MSCP program.
  • Assist in designing and disseminating surveys for alumni and current MSCP students.
  • Assist the MSCP Program Director with other activities in support of the MSCP program.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in the Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology program.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
