Project Manager, Professional Services
About The Role
We're looking for a Project Manager, Professional Services, to lead the successful delivery of complex software implementations for Kuali customers. This role is responsible for managing implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
This is a remote individual contributor role.
As a Project Manager, you'll partner closely with customers and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage timelines, facilitate communication, identify risks, and keep implementations moving forward. You'll play a key role in creating a positive customer experience while helping customers successfully adopt Kuali solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple customer implementation projects from kickoff through successful go-live.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and action items.
Coordinate project activities across customers, Professional Services consultants, Product, Support, and other internal teams.
Serve as the primary project contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively communicate status updates and mitigation plans.
Facilitate recurring project meetings, document action items, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
Manage project scope, timelines, and customer expectations while helping resolve day-to-day implementation challenges.
Coordinate customer readiness activities, including training schedules, testing, and go-live planning.
Escalate project issues appropriately while working collaboratively to drive timely resolution.
Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reporting.
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve implementation processes, templates, and delivery best practices.

Ideal candidates have experience with:
5+ years of project management experience delivering SaaS software implementations or other complex customer-facing projects.
Managing multiple concurrent implementation projects with cross-functional teams.
Building project plans, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating customer communications.
Working with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Experience implementing enterprise software, preferably within higher education, ERP, finance, research administration, or other administrative systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for meeting preparation, documentation, and project organization is a plus.
