Job description

Title: Network Engineer/Cloud Automation Specialist (Level 2)
Location: Seattle, WA

Type: Long-Term Contract

This position is for a Cloud Automation Specialist to set-up, configure and support internal and external cloud-based networks. This includes identifying and analyzing systems requirements, developing and maintaining system applications and security, developing and maintaining network configurations, troubleshooting network and system performances issues, providing user support and guidance, and recommending and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications and new equipment.

Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of professional Network Engineering experience
  • Experience with Google Cloud, AWS or Azure
  • Configure virtual, cloud-based and cloud-native switching, routing, and firewall settings, protocols, ports, services, access controls, and devices through manual and automated means (scripts, automation and orchestration tools, APIs, etc.)
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, HTTP, web security, switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls
  • Configuration Management - Terraform (preferred), Chef, SaltStack, or Puppet
  • Route/ Switch,Automation - Ansible, Netconf/Yang, or Expect
  • Programming Languages - Python (preferred) or Golang
