A Brief Overview
The Learning Consultant is responsible for the assessment, design, and delivery of learning and development across multi-functional teams to support TriNet's operational excellence. The Learning Consultant ensures appropriate training solutions are provided to enable efficient and effective execution of key business initiatives. This individual is responsible for fostering close relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure program and project success. This role serves as a consultant, coach, and resource to leaders in addressing team development needs and deliver learning through various formats including classroom, virtual, and eLearning.
What you will do
  • Coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of training sessions and/or modules for identified target audience to ensure training transfer by requested timelines based on the needs of the business
  • Coordination, development, and administration of pre-and post-training activities and assessments
  • Utilize adult learning principles and training philosophies to ensure utilization of a variety of vehicles which leads to increased knowledge retention
  • Develop or select teaching aids, such as training workbooks, participant guides, infographics, videos, hands on e-learning tutorials and reference materials
  • Support the tracking and communication of training initiatives
  • Confer with SMEs to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies
  • Personal development and accomplishment of appropriate departmental goals
  • Support best practice theory regarding systems and processes, ensuring high quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with all TriNet', federal, state and local regulations
  • Identify training or process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations
  • Keeps informed of industry trends in learning and development by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Apply TriNet standards to develop deliverables that are aligned with the TriNet style guide and branding
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience Qualifications
  • Typically 2+ years experience in development and facilitation of training programs
  • Working knowledge using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies
  • Experience working in a HR Outsourcing/PEO environment a plus
  • Experience utilizing eLearning authorizing and/or video editing tools a plus

Skills and Abilities
  • Capable of developing a variety of training programs based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunities using varied deployment vehicles rooted in adult learning principles preferred
  • Ability to lead multiple projects under tight time constraints, strong time management and organization skills
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to rapidly understand the strategic objectives, learn new concepts applying training techniques to present solutions and enhance comprehension
  • Excellent training skills, including dynamic and professional communication and presentation capabilities, both virtual and in person
  • Ability to apply creative training techniques to engage participants, create an effective and positive learning environment to increase learning transfer.
  • Considerable skills in process improvement/business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem solving, and team building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong public speaking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally with employees at all levels
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

Licenses and Certifications
  • Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) preferred
  • ATD, DDI, industry training certifications preferred
  • Instructional design principles including assessment, development, and measurement, preferred

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $57,800.00 to $97,500.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company's discretion. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
