Responsibilities
  • Plans and conducts work that involves using judgment to independently evaluate, select, adapt and modify standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Independently performs most assignments with the instructions of the general results expected.
  • Complete understanding of Plan Production/Project Work Flow.
  • Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of the professional work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
  • Acute awareness of schedules, deadlines and manhours required to complete projects and tasks.
  • Responsible for training interns and EITโ€™s.
  • Expected to delegate tasks and review the work of others
Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicant must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • 4+ yearsโ€™ experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates, clients, other consultants, municipalities, etc.
  • Self-motivated and deadline-sensitive with a can-do attitude. Strong time-management skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical (design) knowledge.
  • Understanding of project schedules and budgets.
  • Responsible charge of signing and sealing projects
