Professional Engineer II (Structural)

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32202

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Engineer II (Structural) to join our engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in design, analysis, and project management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural engineering design and analysis for a variety of projects including commercial and infrastructure.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Review and approve structural plans and documents prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
  • Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
