Location: Knoxville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Morristown, TN

About the Role
The Professional Development Facilitator, under the supervision of the Director of Professional Development for the state, ensures that all employees receive training and retraining in a caring, competent, and responsible manner while providing guidance regarding company values, standards, policies, and procedures. This role supports collaboration across programs and regions while maintaining effective communication systems that allow for the exchange of ideas and information throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
ยท Maintain familiarity with company goals and policies to ensure adherence to established company procedures and standards
ยท Collaborate with regional leadership teams to oversee training for professional, paraprofessional, and support staff across all programs
ยท Participate in developing and monitoring trainings, policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with contract and licensure requirements
ยท Assist in the development and implementation of training plans for team members in partnership with regional and state leadership teams
ยท Participate in assigned administrative, supervisory, and team meetings
ยท Facilitate in-service training sessions and team development activities
ยท Ensure timely delivery of quality control documents meeting referring agency and company requirements
ยท Support quality assurance goals and reporting processes
ยท Travel statewide to conduct on-site trainings
ยท Maintain accurate time, financial, mileage, supervisory, and administrative records
ยท Submit required reports in a timely manner
ยท Facilitate group learning, mentorship, and leadership development activities
ยท Promote collaborative relationships among employees, peers, and supervisors
ยท Utilize computer systems and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
ยท Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and uphold Clarvida values including Inclusion, Integrity, Commitment, Compassion, Accountability, Person Driven, and Collaboration

Required Qualifications
ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, Child Development, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families, including training experience
OR
ยท Masterโ€™s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, Child Development, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families, including training experience
ยท Ability to travel statewide and work at multiple locations
ยท Strong mentoring, organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
ยท Ability to analyze situations, make sound decisions, and determine appropriate courses of action
ยท Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related software applications
ยท Ability to work flexible hours consistent with program needs
ยท Valid driverโ€™s license and automobile insurance
ย 
Preferred Qualifications
ยท Knowledge of child, adolescent, and family development, needs, and behaviors
ยท Understanding of leadership principles and leadership development practices
ยท Experience with crisis intervention and management
ยท Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
ยท Knowledge of cultural diversity and value systems
ยท CPR and First Aid Trainer certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment
ยท CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Trainer certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
