BODYBAR Melville Pilates InstructorFuture Hiring Opportunity — Fall 2026 Instructor Cohort Is Full

We are not actively hiring for our Fall 2026 instructor cohort at this time, as the cohort is currently full. However, we are always interested in connecting with talented, passionate fitness professionals!
We anticipate our next round of hiring and BODYBAR Instructor Training to begin in February/March 2027. If you're interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply now so we can get to know you and keep your application on file for upcoming opportunities.
No Pilates certification required. We are willing to train the right candidate through BODYBAR's Instructor Training Program!

Who We're Looking For
As a Pilates Instructor at BODYBAR, you'll deliver dynamic, form-focused workouts that build strength, confidence, and community. We're looking for energetic, positive, professional individuals who are passionate about movement and helping others succeed.
Whether you already have Pilates experience or are looking to grow your fitness career through instructor training, we want team members who are coachable, dependable, and excited to inspire others.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging reformer Pilates classes using the BODYBAR method
  • Provide clear cueing, hands-on coaching, and exercise modifications for all fitness levels
  • Create an energetic, welcoming, and positive class environment
  • Build relationships with members before, during, and after class
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and member experience
  • Stay informed on studio events, promotions, and policies
  • Manage your teaching schedule responsibly, including securing substitutes when needed
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for the BODYBAR brand and culture
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others feel their best
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and body movement
  • Previous fitness, Pilates, dance, yoga, or group fitness experience preferred
  • Ability to confidently lead and motivate groups
  • Ability to complete and successfully pass BODYBAR's Instructor Training Program
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain prior to teaching
  • Early morning, evening, and/or weekend availability preferred
