What you will do:
We manufacture Topcon products to the highest standard in a modern production facility, using the best of technology and traditional craft techniques.
  • Plan work by reading product fulfillment orders and blueprints with attention to detail, and follow precise configuration instructions
  • Ensure you have what's needed to get the job done, including taking inventory of parts and replenishing stock
  • Craft products using a variety of production equipment, including microscopes, soldering tools, automatic washers, magnet cranes, thermal testing chambers, sand blasters, etc.
  • Join or secure parts using crimps, screws, solders, and hand tools
  • Validate products meet tight tolerances and high Quality Control standards by evaluating materials and workmanship at every stage of production
  • Work as a team to solve problems and deliver more value than individually capable

What you need:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Prefer prior work experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment, but not required
  • Prior soldering experience is preferred, but we will train
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently while working effectively in a team environment
  • Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of task with little supervision

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
  • Must able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Pushing, pulling, squatting, reaching, bending, carrying, lifting, walking
  • Pick and pull material from workstation above shoulder level
  • Wear steel toe shoes/boots meeting the OSHA standard ASTM F2413-18
  • Willing to work overtime, as required
