Job description

Job Title: Production Support Specialist
Department: Production
Reports To: Lead Operator
Location: Sullivan, IL
This is a manufacturing position and will work 2nd or 3rd shift.
Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Support Specialists to join
our team at our manufacturing facility, which specializes in producing conduit for
underground fiber optic cable. This is an entry-level position that plays a vital role
in ensuring smooth production operations and the efficient handling of materials
and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve empty reels from the laydown yard and return them for reuse in the
production process.
Transport completed reels from the production floor to the appropriate
location in the laydown yard using a forklift.
Load completed reels onto trucks for delivery and ensure all loads are secure
and properly positioned.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the laydown yard to support
efficient logistics and inventory management.
Assist machine operators with production tasks, including reel changes and
changeovers.
Support a safe and clean work environment by following housekeeping
procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
  • Shift Schedule Available:
    • 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday
    • 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am Sunday-Friday
Compensation amp; Benefits
  • $17-$19/hr with a $0.50 shift differential.
