Job description

Position Overview
Green Bay Packaging is seeking a motivated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight production operations within our folding carton manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the safety, quality, training, development, and productivity of employees across the shift while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments.
  • Manage department operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
  • Assess employee performance and training needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide coaching, training, development, and regular performance feedback to team members.
  • Analyze production and department performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce safe work practices and lead daily safety discussions.
  • Provide direction and support to ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Lead monthly department meetings focused on safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop, motivate, and influence employees.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working independently to resolve process and production issues.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) with occasional weekend work.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Manufacturing production experience, preferably in a packaging or converting environment, is a plus.
