The Opportunity
This isn't a "manage the status quo" role. We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager who builds things - relationships, pipelines, teams, and results. You'll lead a team of Territory Managers acrossEastern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Upper Michigan, owning the full sales picture for your region while being the kind of leader your team actually wants to follow.
This is ahybrid role- you'll have the flexibility to work from home while also utilizing whichever of our offices in Wausau, Appleton, or Sturtevant works best for you. When you're not at your desk, you'll be out in the field building relationships with customers across your Region.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and grow a regional sales team- set goals, forecast performance, manage budgets, and coach Territory Managers to win
  • Drive new business- prospect, build your pipeline, and expand L&S's footprint across the region
  • Solve real problems for customers- collaborate with TMs, vendors, and internal resources to understand challenges and deliver solutions
  • Own key relationships- cultivate trust with top accounts and be the person customers call when it matters
  • Represent L&S in the market- tradeshows, customer events, and face-to-face visits are part of your toolkit
  • Think strategically- develop annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts that keep your region ahead of the competition
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years of sales or electrical/mechanical industry experience
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience leading or developing a sales team
  • Strong communicator who can connect with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams alike
  • Comfortable navigating complex customer decision-making processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP platforms
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel ~25%
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with office time and regional travel
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be within commuting distance of our Wausau, Appleton, or Sturtevant, WI office locations
