Job description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Production Manager to support our growing multi-discipline Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firm. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing production workflow, and ensuring projects are properly staffed and delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience coordinating across multiple disciplines on complex projects, particularly within the semiconductor or industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and production activities across all active projects
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and discipline leads to assign staff based on project needs and deadlines
  • Monitor workload and balance staffing to ensure efficient resource utilization
  • Track project schedules and ensure timely delivery of all phases, from design through construction administration
  • Identify and address workflow bottlenecks, resource gaps, and scheduling conflicts
  • Maintain visibility into all active projects, priorities, and key milestones
  • Support Project Managers in managing competing deadlines and project priorities
  • Ensure consistency and quality across project deliverables by supporting QA/QC processes
  • Facilitate coordination between in-house disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.)
  • Oversee staffing and responsiveness for Construction Administration (RFIs, submittals, field coordination)
  • Assist with forecasting staffing needs based on project pipeline and anticipated workload
  • Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on project performance, staffing, and workload

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in an A&E or related industry
  • Strong understanding of multi-discipline project workflows
  • Experience managing project schedules, staffing, and production environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or cleanroom projects
  • Prior experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Senior Project Manager role
  • Familiarity with Construction Administration processes (RFIs, submittals, field coordination)
  • Experience working within integrated, in-house multi-discipline teams
