ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee daily operations to meet production targets and departmental KPIs.
  • Establish priorities, monitor progress, and make adjustments to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Investigate and resolve quality concerns effectively and promptly.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to personnel matters
  • Coordinate training and cross-training programs, with the assistance of team leaders and trainers, to build a flexible workforce.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback as needed.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and protect company culture
  • Review and approve timecards accurately and on time, ensuring sign-offs are completed before payroll deadlines.
  • Assist team leaders in interpreting specifications and job orders and assigning duties to the line.
  • Develop, review, modify, and maintain work instructions and other controlled documents.
  • Exemplify LION Core Beliefs.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (degree may substitute for 1 year)
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with members of the operations team as well as cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Oracle or similar) is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent sitting while observing line operations and conducting paperwork/computer work.
  • Frequent reaching, handling, grasping, and fine motor tasks; occasional bending and lifting up to 25 lbs. (up to 75 lbs. with assistance).
  • Visual and auditory acuity for inspecting products and monitoring equipment.
  • Exposure to manufacturing conditions, including noise, dust, and machinery: compliance with PPE required.
