Full-Time | Salary Exempt | On-Site

Texas Tissue Converting is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in our fast-paced tissue converting facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, promoting workplace safety, and developing high-performing teams.

The Production Manager will oversee production floor operations, supervise converting machine lines and operators, and work closely with maintenance, warehouse, quality, and leadership teams to ensure operational success.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production operations to meet output, quality, and efficiency goals
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
  • Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety throughout the facility
  • Monitor KPIs including productivity, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage production schedules, inventory planning, and changeovers
  • Troubleshoot operational and machine-related issues
  • Collaborate with maintenance to manage preventative maintenance and downtime
  • Support quality initiatives including ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and customer requirements
  • Prepare reports and analyze production data using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of management experience with proven leadership results
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (SyteLine experience preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
