Position Overview

We're seeking a hands-on Production Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced production environment where multiple teams may be managing 80+ active jobs at any given time. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, can effectively prioritize competing demands, stays highly organized, and keeps production moving without becoming overwhelmed.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, coordinating multiple priorities, and working closely with production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. It also offers excellent long-term growth with the opportunity to take on increased leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities to support manufacturing schedules and operational goals
  • Partner with department managers and fellow coordinators to ensure production stays on schedule and work is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor production quality and verify completed work meets company standards
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to a small production team
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions to minimize downtime
  • Assist with production planning, workflow coordination, scheduling, and continuous process improvements
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate production updates to management
  • Cross-train and support multiple production areas as business needs require
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Manufacturing, production coordination, scheduling, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing numerous active jobs simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy
