Job description

DUTIES:
• Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist production leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing activities to support customer quality and delivery requirements.
• Support tracking and reporting of department KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics.
• Assist with data collection and analysis related to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), downtime, scrap, and labor utilization.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects under the guidance of production management.
• Observe and support daily production meetings and shift handoffs.
• Assist with maintaining production-related documentation, reports, and records.
• Support 4S shop floor organization, cleanliness, and standardization initiatives.
• Assist with coordination between production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to support manufacturing targets.
• Observe and assist with staffing coordination, training documentation, and workforce planning activities.
• Support compliance with safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and customer-specific requirements.
• Assist with preparation for customer visits, audits, and internal reviews.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing leadership, production management, or operations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing concepts and production environments preferred.
• Ability to analyze data, organize information, and support multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and learn shop-floor operations.
