Production Intern
Lincoln, Nebraska, USA
The Production Intern will have a hands-on apprenticeship-like opportunity to learn aspects of the Production and Maintenance Department at Sandhills Global. This includes exposure to the manufacturing areas including press and bindery within the company. This is a part time job opportunity with full time hours available during school breaks and vacations. Position offers flexible hours and shifts around classes and competitive pay at $20/hour. Training is hands on with much support from mentors who help the intern develop skills for a potential career. Specific duties may include shadowing press and bindery technicians in troubleshooting mechanical problems, as well as electronic troubleshooting. The intern will learn and perform the day to day tasks of printing and binding of the publications as well as the scheduled maintenance of the equipment. Responsibilities will vary day to day. Preference towards mechanical work along with a willingness to learn is preferred. Assume other duties as assigned. This internship is paid at $20/hour!
