Job description

Sales Production Intern
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters is looking to hire a motivated and extroverted Sales Production Intern to support the Owner of the fast-growing, Fort Lauderdale | Boca Raton location. The Owner aims to groom this individual for a Sales Management or Operations Management role. Must be comfortable meeting and speaking with customers in person and able to represent the company in a professional manner - customer service and reputation are priority #1. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with past work/school experience.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills - very comfortable speaking to customers in person and on the phone
  • Arrive on time and ready to work - this is NOT a remote position. Office is located in Fort Lauderdale / Oakland Park
  • Comfortable with technology- computers, MS Office (Excel, Outlook especially), Apps
  • Ability to learn quickly and accept feedback, both positive and corrective
  • Highly organized
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a clean drivers license and reliable transportation to/from work, Monday-Friday

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
  • Supporting experienced sales personnel at sales meetings (transcribing job proposals and specifications into the order management system on an iPad)
  • Working hours are Monday-Friday 7:30AM to 3:30PM
  • Following up with customers to schedule jobs and confirm details
  • Ordering/procuring materials for jobs and keeping track of in-house and in-bound inventory items
  • Checking in deliveries and matching pack-sheets to purchase order and cross-checking invoice for accuracy in pricing and quantity of items received
  • Learning how to perform estimates and refine The Brothers That Just Do Gutters sales process
  • Keeping customer production schedule current in order management system
  • Keeping records of labor hours and track job progress on longer-term projects
