Position Title: Production Manager

Position Summary:
Direct and scale daily manufacturing operations for a world-class 5 GW annual capacity photovoltaic (PV) cell production plant. We require a Proactive Problem Solver, not a Problem Identifier. This high-volume, Giga-scale facility requires an expert in automation, high-yield optimization, and large-scale workforce synchronization to deliver over 2.8 million high-efficiency cells daily.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Gigawatt-Scale Output: Drive 24/7 manufacturing operations to consistently exceed the daily target good quality and reliable solar cells.
• Large-Scale Leadership: Direct a 458-member high-performing team, including 400 Operators, 50 Indirect Labor (Engineers/Technicians), and 8 Production Supervisors.
• Asset Optimization & Lean Process Engineering: Oversee production and BOM scheduling and line balancing to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), eliminate bottlenecks, practice lean manufacturing, drive continuous improvement; Kaizen and etc, drive low cost manufacturing.
• Precision Quality Assurance: Maintain strict Quality Management Systems (QMS) to maximize cell conversion efficiency, minimize non-compliance cells and increase first-pass yield.
• EHS & Culture Excellence: Enforce world-class Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards to maintain a zero-incident culture across all shifts. Ability to adapt and work in various culture
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics), Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering Management.
• Experience: 10+ years in semiconductor, electronics, or automated manufacturing management, with a strong preference for 5+ years in PV cell fabrication.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of PV cell architecture (e.g., PERC, TOPCon, HJT), inline metrology, automated, and different processes such as chemical/CVD/PVD/Diffusion/Printing/etc.
• Methodologies: Certified or highly proficient in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Root Cause Analysis (8D), and SPC tracking.
• Leadership Capability: Strong and proven success managing large, multi-shift and multi-culture workforce matrices, developing supervisory talent, and managing high-stress change environments.
Working Conditions
• Cleanroom Environment: Frequent, extended presence on the highly automated production floor, requiring strict adherence to controlled environment protocols.
• Dynamic Environment: Time split between strategic office planning and active, hands-on management on the highly automated cleanroom/production floor.
• Industrial Scale: Exposure to automation, chemical/gases handling zones, and thermal processing environments requiring appropriate PPE.
