Position Purpose:

The Gutter Production Associate at SRS Building Products plays a vital role in ensuring the precision and efficiency of metal forming processes to meet customer specifications and production deadlines.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining roll forming machines, troubleshooting operational errors, and ensuring optimal production output with minimal material waste, all while adhering to safety standards in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate roll forming machinery with precision to produce metal products that meet the specific requirements detailed in work orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

  • Monitor machine performance by consistently checking gauges, dials, and other indicators, swiftly identifying and resolving any operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.

  • Implement regular maintenance routines to guarantee the optimal performance of manufacturing machinery, thereby preventing production interruptions and extending machine longevity.

  • Optimize material usage by strategically reducing non-chargeable waste, fostering a cost-effective production environment that ensures maximum material utilization.

  • Accurately document material usage and completed tasks, ensuring meticulous record-keeping for material management and providing detailed information for billing and inventory purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; training is available for entry-level candidates.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine operating errors.
