Job description

Hours of Operation: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sunday - Saturday. We're open 7 days a week:

8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, and off 2 days.

*** Weekly pay *** $11.50 per hour.

Summary:  Serves as a member of the front-line production team. Responsible for various tasks that support the production of the high-capacity commercial laundry plant to meet customer needs. The type of work performed could be related to the following: Soil Sorting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Soil Sorter is responsible for the separation of soiled linen as it moves down the sorting belt.
  • Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
  • Follows directions and safety precautions.
  • Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
  • Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
