Summary

Play a key role in keeping our feed manufacturing operations running strong as a Feed Mill Dust Control Technician. This position supports all areas of the feed mill, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality feed production through hands-on operational and facility support. You'll gain exposure to multiple aspects of feed manufacturing, including operations, receiving, dispatch, feed scheduling, and food safety practices, while working as part of a team committed to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to unload deliveries.
  • Shovel grain into bins.
  • Pressure wash areas of the mill.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. reasonable distances.
  • Fulfill other general housekeeping duties and assist other departments when called upon.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Reading, writing and math skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Exposed to existing weather conditions while outside and controlled room/machine conditions while inside work is performed.
  • Exposed to air born dust, chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Peroxide, caustic cleaners/disinfectants and industrial lubricants.
  • Must have the ability to move through the facility and carry required equipment, tools which could weigh as much as 100 lbs.
  • Must wear required safety equipment including necessary PPE, respirators, etc. as required.
