Job description

Position Summary

We're looking for an Assembly Production Supervisor who thrives in a handson manufacturing environment and enjoys leading others toward highquality, ontime results. In this role, you'll guide daily assembly activities-building, troubleshooting, measuring, and coaching-to help Centrus achieve its operational goals. You'll provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and help drive excellence in every step of the production process.

What You'll Be Doing

The Assembly Production Supervisor leads and supports technicians to meet production goals by overseeing daily assembly operations, coordinating with crossfunctional teams, and ensuring equipment is properly set up, operated, and verified for accuracy. This role interprets technical drawings, performs precision measurements, selects and maintains tools, completes necessary finishing work, utilizes required information systems, and upholds the authority to stop work when safety, quality, or regulatory standards are not met.

We'd Love to Hear from Candidates With

  • Three to five (3-5) years related to assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

A Successful Candidate Brings

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training
  • Two to three (2-3) years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with centrifuge programs
  • Experience with CREO manufacturing software

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.  Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made.  In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government.  Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
