The Senior Production Analyst is responsible for analyzing manufacturing performance, tracking key production metrics, supporting production planning and scheduling activities, and providing data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency. This role serves as a key liaison between Production, Planning, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective production execution, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Production Performance Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance production performance reporting and analytics.

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production performance against established targets and KPIs.

  • Analyze production output, yield, labor efficiency, downtime, and throughput performance.

  • Identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Prepare regular production performance reports and management dashboards.

  • Support root-cause investigations for production losses and operational issues.

Production Changeover Performance Tracking

  • Track and report production line changeover activities and performance.

  • Measure changeover duration, efficiency, and impact on production output.

  • Analyze changeover trends and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve line utilization.

  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to establish and improve changeover performance metrics.

Finished Goods Inventory Analysis

  • Monitor Finished Goods (FG) inventory levels, aging, movements, and storage utilization.

  • Analyze inventory trends and identify potential risks related to inventory shortages, excess inventory, or slow-moving products.

  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Generate routine FG inventory reports for Operations and Management teams.

  • Assist in balancing production output with inventory and shipment requirements.

Production Planning & Scheduling Support

  • Support production planning and scheduling activities to ensure alignment with demand, inventory, and operational capacity.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules.

  • Monitor schedule adherence and report production execution performance.

  • Coordinate with Production Planning, Material Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to support daily operational execution.

  • Assist with production capacity analysis and production readiness assessments.

  • Support planning-related data collection, reporting, and system maintenance.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Develop automated reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve visibility and decision-making.

  • Standardize reporting processes and improve data accuracy.

  • Participate in operational improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

  • Support implementation and optimization of ERP, MES, WMS, and reporting systems.

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduatedegreeis requiredin Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain,Project Management,or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experiencein manufacturing, production planning, operations analysis, supply chain, ora relatedanalytical role.Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools preferred.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

  • Understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and departments.
