Product Owner - ServiceNow Implementation Reston, VA (Hybrid - Onsite 1-2 days per week) DMV area only Contract to Hire (12 Months) GC, USC ServiceNow Implementation, Product Ownership, Agile/Scrum, Product Roadmap & Backlog Management, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria, ServiceNow CSM/ITSM/CRM Modules, Stakeholder Management, MVP Planning. Responsibilities
  • Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for ServiceNow implementation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams, Scrum Masters, architects, and stakeholders to deliver business value.
  • Write and manage epics, features, and user stories aligned with product strategy.
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables from development teams.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product prioritization sessions.
  • Support Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Guide teams on Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development and Agile best practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Provide coaching and support to teams adopting Scrum and Agile practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of overall experience with 6+ years as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
  • Strong experience supporting ServiceNow implementation projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as CSM, ITSM, or CRM.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps and digital product strategies.
  • Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum frameworks, and backlog management.
  • Experience working with multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Certifications: Certified Product Owner, Scrum, Agile, or ServiceNow certifications.
  • Experience working in fast-paced enterprise digital transformation environments.
