Job description

A global leader in high-performance, open-architecture rugged embedded computing, providing mission-critical solutions for the defense and industrial sectors is seeking a Product Line Manager.
In this role, you will apply deep systems intuition to product strategy, shaping a competitive and innovative roadmap across modular architectures. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and program teams to drive product development and ensure that high-performance computing offerings maintain a leadership position within the embedded industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the product strategy for advanced signal processing and hardware acceleration solutions within the organizational portfolio.
  • Develop long-range roadmaps aligned to emerging industry trends and specific customer requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis across relevant form factors and modular architectures.
  • Author detailed business cases and technical requirements to justify new product investments to executive leadership.
  • Lead the kickoff process for new product introductions and oversee the performance of the multi-product portfolio.
  • Interface directly with customers, sales teams, and strategic partners to support secure engagements and business development.
  • Provide technical presentations, marketing collateral, and training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to ensure products deliver high value and align with rugged reliability standards.


Core Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in RF, DSP, FPGA, or the embedded defense markets.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership or product management roles.
  • Ability to translate complex theory into real hardware implementations with an understanding of where practical systems diverge from ideal models.
  • Experience making system-level technical tradeoffs regarding noise figure, dynamic range, and data conversion.
  • Proficiency in defining product concepts and managing the full lifecycle of new product launches.
  • Familiarity with writing requirements that align with stringent military and industrial standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by influence and create positive outcomes across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep familiarity with embedded electronics, modular architectures, and high-performance signal processing.
  • Experience navigating export-controlled information and supporting defense-related programs.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape for ruggedized, open-architecture computing solutions.
