  • Assist with onboarding and training new processors on products, systems, procedures, and departmental expectations
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to help team members develop their skills and maintain consistency
  • Support daily workflow management, pipeline prioritization, and workload balancing
  • Monitor pipeline activity and assist with escalated or aging files as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for processing-related questions and support when leadership is unavailable
  • Maintain an active pipeline of mortgage loans while meeting production, quality, and customer service expectations
  • Review income, asset, credit, title, appraisal, and collateral documentation for completeness and compliance
  • Partner with Loan Officers, Underwriters, Closers, and third-party vendors to resolve file deficiencies and move loans efficiently through the process
  • Assist with complex loan scenarios and provide guidance on documentation requirements
  • Support quality control initiatives by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Help maintain processing procedures, job aids, and training materials

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience
  • Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA/RD, and Non-Agency loan products
  • Strong understanding of mortgage processing workflows, investor requirements, and regulatory compliance
  • Working knowledge of TRID, ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, and related mortgage regulations
  • Experience with DU, LP, GUS, and mortgage loan origination systems
  • Prior experience training, mentoring, or serving as a subject matter expert preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and mortgage banking software
