Job description

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced, closed-door pharmacy operations environment.

Location: Canton Township, MI 48188

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Schedule: Monday- Friday 11am to 8pm

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Tech - Fulfillment is responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system

Mail Order Pharmacy Technician Key Responsibilities

  • The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products.
  • The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.
  • Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
  • Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
  • Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.
  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.

Mail Order Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration/Certification required by the state of Michigan.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate pharmacy software.
