This hospital has grown in size and capabilities over the decades to become a Level II trauma center, serving the community since 1965. It also serves as the base teaching hospital for Michigan State University.

Scope of work

The CPD Assistant prepares supplies for surgery, decontaminates patient care equipment, prepares floor trays for sterilization, cleans case carts, operates washers and ultrasonic cleaners, transports instruments to and from surgery, and assists the department in meeting regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
