How You Will Create Value:
You will play an instrumental role in the organization helping to drive continuous and operational excellence, from brine extraction to finished product. You will work side-by-side with all operational groups to solve problems and make a real impact every single day.
More specifically, you will:
  • Troubleshoot process and quality issues in a hands-on, field-based environment.
  • Partner with operations and pond teams to stabilize plant performance and manage brine systems.
  • Align cavern, pond, and plant operations to meet production and quality targets.
  • Optimize key processes (flotation, dewatering, material handling) to improve recovery and throughput.
  • Lead improvement initiatives and capital projects, ensuring results stick in the field.
  • Support forecasting, data analysis, and continuous improvement while maintaining clear operating standards.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Demonstrated experience in a mining or chemical processing operation coupled with a bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, mining, industrial, etc.).
  • You must be a self-starter who can work independently, while remaining humble and coachable.
  • Ability to balance intellectual design with "hands on" field execution.
  • You must be comfortable shifting between a climate-controlled office and rugged industrial field locations.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to generate solutions using sound judgement. Must be able to effectively gather, synthesize, analyze and package/present environmental information to internal and external stakeholders.
