Job Description

Job Summary

Veolia is currently searching for an experienced engineer to support the production of water filtration membranes. The production of water purification membranes is a growing business which addresses the ever increasing need for water. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong mechanical, Industrial, or chemical engineer to support our membrane manufacturing facility. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop process engineers on the team

  • Provide engineering support for the operation of multiple production lines, including day to day troubleshooting, performance tracking, etc. 

  • Own the value stream(s) creation and updates within your respective scope 

  • Collaborate and effectively interface with manufacturing, R&D, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget 

  • Collect and analyze data to drive improvements that improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity

  • Create and update bill of materials, routings, and new part numbers

  • Drive process improvements by identifying, developing, and leading continuous improvement projects to meet key production metrics 

  • Strong and robust technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues – mechanical, chemical, electrical, controls

  • Develop, write, and review new process documentation

  • Potential for on call or extended hours support

  • Aid in the ideation and implementation for the shift towards digitization

  • Lead in the ideation and roll out of small to large capital projects

  • Responsible for training and developing process engineers across the plant

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain

  • Experience with manufacturing of water filtration products

  • Experience in process control

  • Green Belt Certified

  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects

  • Strong project and team leadership

not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills,
experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding

stated range: $103,000-125,00 USD
